The Prairie Ronde Water System has lifted its boil advisory for the Whiteville area.
The Prairie Ronde Water System has issued a boil advisory for the Whiteville area.
The advisory starts at 16097 Highway 182 and extends north, including Highway 29 and Highway 106.
Officials discovered a break in a water line, but are still trying to locate it as of 4 p.m.
During the time while they attempt to locate and then repair the break, residents may experience very low water pressure.
The boil advisory has been issued because of the loss of pressure and will be in place until tests are conducted on the water to ensure it is safe to drink.
During a boil advisory, residents must boil water for a full minute in a clean container before drinking, making ice or drinks, cooking or brushing teeth.
