EUNICE, La. – A 42-year-old Iota man was arrested Wednesday for pornography involving juveniles.
Michael J. Green, Sr. was arrested by Eunice Police after a coworker picked up Green’s phone to use and explicit images of children appeared, according to Chief Randy Fontenot. The coworker contacted police.
A warrant for Green’s phone was obtained and 110 images of pornography involving children were discovered.
Police reached out to the Attorney General’s Office for further assistance with the investigation.
“What I like to see is this investigation go further and see if we can track down the person where these pictures originated or how they got on his phone because they were on a website,” said Chief Fontenot. “So hoping we can track that down and make more arrests that’s why we contacted the Attorney General’s Office to assist with the investigation.”
