Members of St. Ann Catholic Church in St. Landry Parish are celebrating the Creole culture with their Grande Boucherie Creole de Mallet.

It’s a tradition for the 162-year-old church to host the boucherie to bring families together for dancing and eating.

Organizers butcher a whole hog for the event.

Geno Delafose & French Rockin’ Boogie performed for guests later in the afternoon.
