The St. Landry Parish School System held its annual Teacher/ Principal of the Year Banquet.
The event honored those staff that shows their hard work and love of children in the parish.
“Teachers are essential and builders of the future,” St. Landry Superintendent Patrick Jenkins said.
The banquet was held at the Opelousas Civic Center.
