New details in the case of a missing Port Barre teenager who was located Friday in Colorado are being reported.

Fifteen-year-old Domeanna Spell was reported missing March 28 after last being seen around 7 a.m. at Port Barre High School.

“A nightmare come true… You see these things in movies. Never did I think that would happen to our family,” said Domeanna’s sister, Jerrie Cradeur.

Domeanna took off with 47-year-old Cory Disotel. The teenager’s sister told KATC that Dishotel is a family friend.

“You see all the bodies found, and it just scares you. It terrified me to know maybe that’s my sister,” said Cradeur.

Those thoughts are now laid to rest.

A week after Domeanna’s disappearance, she and Disotel were located in Archuleta County in Colorado.

“When my mom told me, it was just a huge relief,” said Cradeur.

According to ABC, the FBI contacted the Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office that there was a kidnapping suspect whose phone just pinged off one of the cell towers in the area of Pergosa Springs. The FBI provided the sheriff’s office with the license plate number.

One of the deputies spotted the vehicle on Hwy. 160, and deputies followed the vehicle to a parking lot of a grocery store where they found both Domeanna and Disotel in the vehicle. They were then removed from the vehicle.

Disotel is in custody at La Plata County Jail. Port Barre Police Chief Deon Boudreaux says they have a warrant for him for contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

Domeanna’s sister tells KATC the teenager has not returned to Louisiana. Authorities last took her to human services and left her in their custody

Charges are pending with the FBI, and they say the investigation is not over. Other charges may be presented depending results of a complete investigation.

The Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office is planning on releasing information about the investigation on Monday.
