Paul Marx, the owner of KBON radio station and a proud promoter of Cajun culture, has died.
According to his Facebook page, which has been updated frequently by his daughters Angela and Paula, he died Sunday evening.
During his time in the hospital, his family played KBON for him, the posts indicate.
A couple of weeks ago, they posted this:
“We ALL know his passion and dedication he has put into his baby Kbon, so we have it playing for him. Please know when he says he appreciates all of you, it comes straight from his heart. My family realizes without God, listeners and the advertisers Kbon would not be celebrating its 22nd birthday in May.
For that we say thank you.
We appreciate the continued prayers.”
As soon as arrangements have been released, we will update this story.
