Police in the Town of Grand Coteau are searching for a man who allegedly assaulted someone with brass knuckles.
A spokesperson for the police department says the alleged assault took place outside of the Valero gas station on Martin Luther King Drive at 1:44 p.m. on March 2.
The unidentified suspect waited outside for the victim, and when the victim walked outside, the suspect hit the victim in the face, leaving him unconscious, according to the spokesperson.
The suspect then allegedly got into the passenger side of an unknown car and left the scene.
