Job seekers filed into the SLCC T. H. Harr campus in Opelousas for today’s job fair.
That event featured 30 employers looking for workers.
SLCC officials say the event served its students in more ways than one.
“The students are pleased to see that we are providing them with opportunities,” said Toni Mansion, Career and Testing Service Coordinator. “They’re excited to come today all dressed up professionally and learn how to network so this is definitely a networking opportunity, not just for the students but for the community of Opelousas.”
