The series will begin with JC Melancon & the Bayou Rock Band on April 26.
Organizers with the Music & Market series say that since 2007, the pavilion stage has seen over 120 performances and award-winning artists like the Lost Bayou Ramblers, Chubby Carriere, and Steve Riley.
The event is free to attend and takes place from 5:30 to 8:30 pm on Fridays during its five-week run. Music starts at 6:00 pm.
Designed to promote the area’s music heritage, the series also promotes local farmers and their produce. Each week features a locally grown product.
