UPDATE: The boil water advisory for Prairie Ronde Water System has been rescinded.
The water is safe for consumption, according to officials.
The advisory was issued last week.

Some customers of the Prairie Ronde Water System will be under a boil advisory.
Customers living between Hwy. 182 and Hwy. 10 in Bunkie will be affected.
A break in the line caused the water to be shut off. Once it’s restored, customers will have to boil their water for one full minute before cooking and consuming.
The advisory will be in effect until further notice.
