A third person has been arrested in connection with a vacant house fire in Eunice.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office has arrested an 18-year-old Trevalyn Thibodeaux in connection with the fire on Monday. He was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail on one count each of simple arson and criminal trespass.

On Monday, two 15-year-olds were arrested in the case and released into the custody of their guardians.
The fire occurred at a home located in the 200 block of Rodney Street. The home, according to the fire marshal’s office, had been vacant for a year following a previous fire.

The fire was determined to be intentionally set.
