Funeral services for St. Landry School Board member John Miller, Jr. have been announced.
Miller was recently elected on December 8, 2018, to serve as the District 3 School Board member for St. Landry Parish School District. The school board released a statement on Miller’s passing.
Miller died on Monday morning. He was 77 years old.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Melancon Funeral Home of Opelousas and will begin at 7:00 a.m.
A Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at 12:00 p.m.
