St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man they say robbed the Dollar General in Opelousas while armed with a gun.
Deputies received the call shortly before 9 p.m.
They describe the suspect as a black man, about 6 ft. tall, wearing all black with a hoodie and gray bandanna or mask over his face.
The suspect is said to have fled the store in a maroon-colored truck on Hwy. 182.
The investigation is ongoing.
