The official cause of death for Adrian Ford was drowning, officials say.
Ford, 37, was last seen when his truck went into a bayou near Port Barre. His body was found several days later, in the water.
St. Landry Parish deputies say his girlfriend told them she crawled out of the sunroof when the vehicle went into the bayou, but didn’t see what happened to Ford.
