OPELOUSAS, La. – The St. Landry Parish Health Unit is hosting a Health Fair and Flu Vaccination Clinic Thursday, November 8, 2018, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The health fair includes free stroke education, hearing screenings and fall risk education by Fyzical,
meal planning and preparation by the LSU AgCenter, flu shots (free with insurance, $10 for those without insurance) and blood pressure screening.
The Health Unit is located at 308 W. Bloch St. in Opelousas.
This is open to the public and walk-ups are welcome.
Bring your private insurance, Medicaid or Medicare card.
Health providers recommend wearing short or loose-fitting sleeves.
