Opelousas Police say they have arrested a suspect in an armed robbery at a local business on S. Union Street
Police responded to an armed robbery in progress at a local business in the 1100 Block of S. Union Street Thursday afternoon.
Christopher Wade Lane, 51 of Opelousas, was arrested in the armed robbery. He is originally from Bolton, Mississippi.
Police say that Lane allegedly entered the business and robbed it by knifepoint.
He was booked into the St Landry Parish Jail on a charge of armed robbery.
