Eunice Police say they are looking for the person who shot a woman in the hip during a domestic incident Friday.
Police Chief Randy Fontenot says that a woman was brought to a hospital in Eunice at around noon Friday, September 14, 2018. She, according to the chief, was shot in the hip.
Those injuries were not life-threatening.
Fontenot says the person who brought the woman to the hospital was also the person who shot her. Police believe the shooting was accidental but stemmed from a domestic incident.
Fontenot tells KATC that they know who shot the gun and are looking for them. The victim, in this case, is also said to not be cooperating with officers.
