St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs help from the public in solving a rash of burglaries at an Opelousas home.
The owner of a home located in the 1600 block of North Main Street in Opelousas reported four break-ins on July 11th, 15th, 17th, and the 28th, according to police. The suspect entered the home by smashing window panes and breaking doors to the victim’s home.  On the July 11th case, a witness observed a man wearing a white tank top at the home then but fled on foot towards South Main Street and M.L.K. Drive.  The suspect left behind two rifles but made away with an unknown make and model 38 caliber snub nose and a .22 caliber revolver, stated investigators.
