This year's Southern Screen festival will be held virtually and will feature many emerging and innovative creative professionals.

Even though the event, which is celebrating 10 years this year, will be virtual, organizers still promise to deliver 'quality programming.'

Southern Screen features film screenings, live music, creative writing, podcasts, workshops, mixers, parties, and more. Organizers say the festival provides a platform for emerging and innovative storytellers of all types to showcase their craft and share their creativity, while moving beyond the traditional film and music festival.

This year's event will feature filmmakers Syd Horn, Olivia Perillo, Kathryn Beranich, Ekwa Msangie, and many more.
