An encore fund raising event will be held to benefit struggling musicians in the Acadiana area.
Social Entertainment, the company behind the fundraiser, says that at the start of the pandemic in March the community donated over $33,000 to the very first 'Lost My Gig Fund.'
That fund benefited 106 local musicians.
With stages still empty, Social Entertainment says that they have decided to partner with Acadiana Center for the Arts to launch an encore fundraiser for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The two-week long fundraiser will kick off on Friday, November 13 and end on Friday, November 27.
