Below is a list of shelters open in Acadiana ahead of the winter weather event expected to impact the area in the coming days.

St. Landry Parish will open a shelter at the Yambilee Building in Opelousas for residents without heat. The shelter will open at noon on Sunday, February 14, 2021. Anyone wishing to use the shelter should bring their blankets and pillows. COVID-19 protocols will be in place at the shelter.
