CARENCRO, La. - A local non-profit got a little help from a Carencro school with spreading love to our troops.

During Catholic Schools Week, on January 28th, Carencro Catholic School collected items for care packages for local service members who are currently deployed. A local non-profit, Cajuns Support Military, whose mission is to send packages monthly, happily collected the items Tuesday morning.

The non-profit sends military members from Acadiana care packages twice a month. One is a personal care package and the other is a snack package.

They have 17 drop off locations throughout Acadiana if you would like to donate.

For more information go to their Facebook page or send them an email cajunsspreadlove@gmail.com.
