Residents provide washing services to Hurricane Laura evacuees

In Lafayette on September 11, 2020 a group will be helping out evacuees who are in the Lafayette area.

They will wash, dry, fold an deliver laundry starting on Friday September 11 at 4:00 pm to Sunday September 13, 2020.

Those in the Lafayette area can following the following steps to receive the service:

1. Text 337-281-9368 your Name, address (or hotel/rm#), # of bags you have, and your preferred pick up day if you have one. We will accommodate as best as possible and may ask to meet at a local store!
2. Place your clothes in a trash bag and LABEL with your name and address!
3. Label the bag "Allergy" if you have skin allergies and need "free & clear" detergent!
4. We will text you on our way to pick up and on our way to deliver.
5. If you need water or food, text that too and how many mouths you need fed!
