The Realtor Association of Acadiana hosted their 29th Annual Gumbo Cook-off today at Parc International.
Teams outfitted themselves and decorated their booths with this year's theme - "Game Shows!" Booths were decorated as "Hollywood Squares" and "The Price is Right!"
Attendees were able to take a trip down memory lane while being served some delicious gumbo.
Dozens of affiliate and Realtor member teams competed for top honors. Gumbo dishes were served in an "all you can eat" style.
KATC'S own Chris Welty was a judge for the event for the second year.
Sara Bourque, an organizer of the cook-off, explained, "Members in this industry are par to none. They are really great. They really work well together and this is their way to come together and give back to the community as their signature event to help."
Proceeds will benefit Maddie's Footprints, Habitat For Humanity, and Lane's Legacy.
Louisiana Red provided entertainment for the cook-off.
