It will be a morning of remembrance on Saturday October 12th as runners from across Acadiana will take part in the 10th annual Footprints Forever 5K event taking place at the River Ranch Town Square in Lafayette.
Audi Lafayette will be this year's head sponsor.
Maddie's Footprints was established in January of 2010 in memory of Madeline Noelle McGrew.
The organization is designed to help families who have experienced miscarriages, stillbirths, or the loss of an infant.
Online registration for the event is still open until October 10th.
You can still register after the cut-off date in person the morning before the race starts.

The event will kick off at 8 a.m.
