While dine-in service at restaurants across the state is suspended for the foreseeable future, businesses are taking advantage of curbside, delivery, to-go services.

Olde Tyme Grocery is one of many here in Lafayette serving customers curbside.

While it's a change, owners say it's a way residents can support local businesses through the pandemic while still practicing social distancing and healthy habits.

"We can maintain our to-go business as normal, so people can call it in or order in house and take it out," explained Ross Murphree, Vice President of Olde Tyme Grocery. "We also began offering a curbside service right here in front of the snowball stand and people have been receiving well to that. We've been blessed to sustain and maintain a steady flow of customers this week."

Many restaurants in Acadiana are still open, though the method of receiving your order has changed.
