The Lafayette Area Resident Council hosted their first Tenant Appreciation Day on Saturday.
The council partnered with the Lafayette Housing Authority and United Way to host a party where tenants were treated to food, sweet treats, and activities for the kids.
“We thought it was important to do something in honor of our families because if it weren’t for them, we wouldn’t be where we are. So, we’re so grateful for them, and this allows us to bring them together and have a little fun,” said Yvonda Bean, Executive Director of Lafayette Housing Authority.
