UPDATE: The Lafayette Police Department says that an arrest has been made in a shooting that involved an off-duty Duson Police Officer.
Romeion Glaude, 21, was booked with one count attempted first-degree murder and one count attempted second-degree murder.
The department says that Glaude was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Violent Offender Task Force on Tuesday, June 18.
The off-duty officer was riding in a car with a family member early Monday when shots were fired at the vehicle. No one was injured. Police said Tuesday they did not believe the shooter knew who was in the car.
Glaude’s bond has been set at $150,000. He remained in LPCC today.

Lafayette Police say the person who was driving the vehicle involved in this morning’s shooting incident was an off-duty Duson Police Officer.
The shooting happened about 1:30 a.m., when the officer was traveling in his personal vehicle with a family member. Multiple shots were fired at his vehicle. Neither the officer nor his family member were injured.
At this time no suspect(s) have been identified and it is not believed to be a targeted incident toward the off-duty police officer. The investigation into the incident is being investigated by the Lafayette Police Criminal Investigations Division.

The Lafayette Police Department is investigating the report of shots fired overnight in the city.
Neighbors tell KATC that the incident happened on Tuesday at around 2:00 am on Alsandor Drive. They say that no one was inured during that incident.
Police confirmed they were on the scene this morning.
