A Broussard machine shop assisted in the weighing of a large snake today.
The owner said he needed to get his pet’s weight, and he took him by Moores Machine Shop.
“We had an unusual visitor today at Moores! Only a few guys were willing to make friends with him! The rest wanted to cook some rice,” a post on the company’s Facebook wall says.
The snake is a Burmese python and weighed in at 131 pounds and 17 feet.
