UPDATE: The registers are now working at both Target locations in Lafayette. One is located on Ambassador Caffery, and the other is across town on Louisiana Avenue.
According to a statement posted to the store’s Facebook page, all registers at stores nationwide are fully back online. The temporary outage was the result of an internal technology issue.

The registers at Target are down nationwide.
KATC’s Chris Welty was told by an employee at the Target on Ambassador Caffery that their registers are down, and according to a quick Google search, other media outlets are reporting registers are down at their local Target as well.
