The Down Syndrome Association of Acadiana hosted a Royal Princess Tea Party today.

The presence of all Princesses, dressed in their best royal attire, was requested for the event, which was held at Esprit de Coeur in downtown Lafayette this afternoon.

The princesses got to socialize with other princesses, make their own crowns and magic wands, and had tea with Queens visiting from around the state, including Miss UL.

“We’re having this party for all the girls with Down Syndrome. They’re all dressed in their lovely dresses,” says Molly Guidry, media coordinator for DSAA. “We hope they leave with a great memory of a great afternoon, when they could be the princesses that they are.”
