Due to what is being called a mistake, 100 students at Willow Charter Academy may not advance to the next grade.
A spokesperson with National Heritage Academy who overseas Willow Charter says the school did not inform parents of students that were at risk of failing a grade.
The spokesperson said that school leadership is reaching out individually to parents to apologize and give them the option to promote their child to the next grade if they choose to do so.
According to Willow Charter’s website, 607 students were enrolled at the school.
