Lafayette Police say they investigated a disturbance Monday night between juveniles that left one person injured.
The shooting happened in the 300 block of Spruce Drive just after 4:00 pm on Monday. A spokesperson with the department says several juveniles were involved in a disturbance when the suspect allegedly fired into a vehicle hitting the victim.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where she is expected to survive her injuries.
A suspect has not been identified and this shooting remains under investigation.
