Fire Department investigators are looking for witnesses who could help solve an attempted arson.
At about 1 a.m., someone threw a Molotov cocktail at a home on Azelie Street, a Lafayette Fire Department spokesman said.
The bottle hit the side of the home, but bounced off and landed on some concrete. It broke there, and flamed up, but there was no damage to the home, the spokesman said. No one was injured, he said.
Anyone with any information is asked to call the Fire Department at 291-8716 or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
