LAFAYETTE, La. – Three free sessions were held today to learn more about Lafayette’s Comprehensive Plan.

The sessions focused on Acadiana’s Opportunity Zone initiative, leveraging downtown as a regional asset, and development throughout the parish.

Entering its fifth year since adoption, Plan Lafayette – Lafayette’s Comprehensive Plan – is expected to see updates and a five-year amendment in 2019-2020. In celebration of this anniversary year, Lafayette Consolidated Government will host informational and interactive monthly sessions from April through December aimed at re-engaging citizens and gathering public input.

Visit Plan Lafayette’s Facebook page for all event details and registration links. All events are free and open to the public.
