A bill that could allow electric scooters to return to Lafayette will go before a House committee on Monday.
The bill would allow cities and DOTD to regulate where people could ride those scooters.
In January, scooter companies Lime and Bird reached an agreement with LCG to remove their scooters from Lafayette streets until lawmakers passed a bill that would regulate them.
