The Lafayette City-Parish Council will introduce an ordinance Tuesday that would transfer $12 million from the library fund to pay for those projects.
Eight million dollars would pay for the new Northeast Regional Library on Lafayette’s north side.
The other $4 million would pay for expansions at the North Regional Library in Carencro.
