A Houma-based CBD shop with locations in Louisiana will be opening in Youngsville this month.
According to the Advocate, Aurora CBD and Hemp will open their new location at 2019 Centre Sarcelle Blvd.
The paper says that owners Dylan and Hunter Poiencot plan to speak with law enforcement before opening.
Last month, Cajun Cannabis in Lafayette was raided by law enforcement ending with the arrest of owner Travis DeYoung. He was later released on bond.
DeYoung’s store, which opened on April 20, sells several CBD products including CBD oils, lotions, bath products, coffee, soda, and hemp clothing. It reopened in May, the store is not selling CBD oils or lotions.
The Advocate reports that Aurora CBD and Hemp will carry a variety of hemp and CBD products including CBD and hemp seed oil, hemp protein bars, CBD candies and gummies.
The owners are looking into selling hemp clothing as well.
Two stores are already open in Baton Rouge and Houma.
