Painting with a Twist offered a different kind of activity for Acadiana moms today.
The Lafayette business offered a class for moms Sunday, which included music and guidance from experienced artists for participants.
“It helps with relaxation, it brings families together, and it’s just fun,” said owner Nichole Jefferyes. “We’re super excited that we could have moms here with their daughters, with their friends, just having a good time and enjoying their Mother’s Day.”
Jefferyes said she’s hosting the annual “Strokes for Strokes” event on Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Lafayette General Southwest Campus on Ambassador Caffery Parkway. For more info on that event, call (337) 234-9783.
“This is a community place, we do so many things with the community,” said Jefferyes. “It’s a party every day. We bring happiness to people. Anybody can pain. It doesn’t matter your age or disability, nothing matters. Just come on in and paint with us and have a good time.”
