Who is responsible for the up keep and cleaning of the Anslem coulee?
Mayor Ken Ritter took to social media today to voice his frustration on what he calls a “disconnect” concerning the Anslem coulee.
Ritter said he met with a resident who called LCG Friday morning about the Anslem coulee and was referred to Youngsville. The mayor then called LCG on behalf of the resident.
While on the line with LCG, Ritter was told the coulee is, “maintained by the City of Youngsville”
The coulee maintenance is the responisbility of Lafayette Parish. Ritter says that everyone knows this is LCG’s responsibility except LCG.
