The U.S. Army’s national touring pop-rock band, As You Were, will perform three free concerts in Lafayette this week. One concert, on Friday, May 9 at Girard Park, is open to the public.
The band, which is comprised of active-duty soldiers will be in Lafayette this week. Performances include covers of Top 40 music and original songs from the band’s brand new album scheduled for release this summer.
As You Were plays approximately 230 shows yearly across the country at high schools, colleges, and music festivals, according to a release.
Concerts dates are as follow:
Comeaux High School: May 6 – 9: 00 am to 11:00 am
Lafayette High School: May 8 – 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm
Girard Park: May 9 – 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm (Open to the public)
