A press conference will be held Friday to update on the investigation done by TM Landry College Prep.

The school will be sharing that information in a press conference scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at the Lite Center located at 537 Cajundome Blvd in Lafayette.

This press conference will only focus on the school’s investigation into allegations of false records and abuse  against them in 2018.

In December, after Tracey and Michael Landry agreed to step down as board members, the board of TM Landry College Prep announced the hiring of Couhig Partners, located in New Orleans, Louisiana, to conduct an independent investigation of the claims made in the New York Times articles published in late 2018.

That investigation has been concluded, according to a release   Paul Pastorek and Claire Ponthier will present the findings of their report.

The School recently moved into a building in Lafayette on Moss Street. They faced setbacks with the State Fire Marshal’s Office until they were cleared to move in.

Davis told KATC in February that the school had to move out of the Breaux Bridge location because of the amount of work it would take to get the building compliant with the fire codes.
