Volunteers from across Lafayette are helping beautify the city.
Project Front Yard and the Environmental Quality Division of LCG teamed up with the Bayou Vermilion District to host the 35th annual Trash Bash on Saturday.
Students, Scouts, neighborhood groups, nonprofits, and businesses all did their part by cleaning streets, parks, and waterways in the city.
Following clean-up, volunteers were treated to the “bash” portion of the event where prizes were awarded for most interesting piece of trash discovered and the most trash retrieved.
