Woman wanted for intentionally setting car on fire arrested

The woman wanted in connection with a January car fire has been arrested.

According to arrest reports, Teralyn Broussard was arrested and booked into the Lafayette Parish Jail. Broussard and her boyfriend Courtney Crouchet are accused of intentionally setting a vehicle to defraud the insurance company.

Crouchet turned himself in earlier this week in connection with the fire. He was booked with arson with intent to defraud and criminal mischief.

Firefighters responded to the fire on January 20 at Deballion Park around 4 a.m.
