Lafayette Police say a suspect has been identified in the shooting death of 22-year-old Kenderick Flugence Jr.
A warrant has been issued for 20-year-old Taveon Malik Leary of Lafayette on a charge of Second-degree murder.
Flugence was killed on Sunday, March 24 during a shooting at the Mon Chateau apartment complex on Louisiana Avenue.

Anyone with information on Leary’s whereabouts is asked to call the Lafayette Police Department or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS
The Lafayette Police Department wants to remind the public that anyone found to be aiding, preventing apprehension or harboring Leary will be placed under arrest for the appropriate offense upon his capture.
