Passers-by have probably seen the large slide and other attractions just off I-10 at Ambassador Caffrey and wondered, “what’s that?”
“EPIC Entertainment is a unique indoor and outdoor entertainment center for the Lafayette area,” Co-owner of EPIC Entertainment Keith Galloway said.
The park features a wide variety of activities for everyone to enjoy.
“We have a 40-foot slide outside, 300-foot zip line. Inside, we got 15 climbing challenges, four-person virtual reality games, and many, many other things.”
Galloway got the idea for epic entertainment while on a vacation with his family.
“I saw a facility that was similar to this in Texas and thought this area had a need for it, someplace for the families and kids to come and have a good time,” Galloway said.
Those that have been too epic are thrilled there’s a place like this here in Acadiana.
“It’s really fun and all the workers are really nice and they all are so sweet,” said guest Amber Broussard.
Fair warning, once you go you might want to keep coming back.
“We love coming here, we come here like every single weekend because they always have something new and they are always so nice to us,” said Guest Della Brazzeaux.
EPIC Entertainment is not just for the kids, adults can have fun and well.
“It’s fun for all ages you know adults, kids, great time to spend with family and things like that. we really enjoy it, it’s fun,” said guest Toby Landry.
With the first two phases being such a huge success, Galloway plans to continue adding to the facility.
“The third phase we start construction in April which will bring in an arcade, laser tag, soft play for the small kids,” Galloway said.
It doesn’t stop there, eventually, Galloway wants to add a second-floor sports bar and bowling alley.
