Lafayette Police are working to clear an accident that happened on Johnston Street near the South College intersection this afternoon.
Seven vehicles were involved, but only one person was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. That person sustained what police believe to be minor injuries, a spokeswoman said.
One driver is being issued citations for several traffic violations, including disobeying a stop sign, the spokeswoman said.
