A Truman Early Childhood Education Center teacher has been placed on administrative leave following an allegation of inappropriately disciplining a student.
LPSS says that an administrator at Truman Early Childhood Education Center notified the district office Thursday morning regarding the alleged incident.
The teacher has been placed on administrative leave and will be on leave pending an investigation into the allegation, according to officials with LPSS.
LPSS says that law enforcement has been notified.
The teacher was issued a misdemeanor summons on a charge of simple battery, according to law enforcement.
