Recent shootings in Lafayette are prompting anti-violence activists to hit the streets.

Freedom World Ministries held a Stop the Violence march at the corner of Simcoe and Louisiana Avenue on Wednesday night.

The group says they are urging people to work together to find a solution to gun crime.

“If there’s some violent activity going on in your community or on your street, let’s try to seek to resolve it. Let’s get involved with it instead of saying its none of my business,” Senior pastor Lawrence Levy III said.
