The construction cones and heavy equipment are gone from Verot School Road as crews finish up work along the roadway.
Bill Oliver with DOTD says that the main portion of the work is complete on the Verot School Road widening project which began three years ago. Some intermediate closures can be expected while crews complete corrective work to the roadway.
The final phase of the project should be completed in the next 30 to 60 days.
The construction on Verot School Road stretched from Pinhook Road to just south of its intersection with Ambassador Caffery.
